Last week, Andrew Jackson joined Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose and a panel of community service agencies and businessmen to provide advice to Cleveland area  Women and Minority Business Enterprises (WMBE’s).

As reported by The Real Deal Press,

“Jackson encouraged business owners to obtain MBE certification but not to be comforted by it. It was essential to success, he said, to “get in the big pond. Grow your practice. Get some employees.”

Jackson included his  three step process: Think Big, Start Slow, Ramp Up.”

After the session, LaRose told Crain’s, “We want to connect minority and women business owners with a menu of services to help them get access to capital, mentorships, MBE and WBE certifications and on to the next level.”

A frequent speaker at Business Roundtable Forums, Jackson recently addressed  MBE’s  providing advice on the topic “Money Matters” at “The Straight Talk Entrepreneur Series” sponsored and hosted by Growth Opps.

Jackson is CEO of Elsons International.
